•The IEP team determines how often and when progress notes will be provided to the parent.
•In most cases, and at a minimum, progress notes are provided at the time of grade reporting.
•The IEP needs to indicate when progress on goals will be reported by writing, as an example, “January and June” on each goal page of the IEP.
•Copies of progress notes need to be placed behind the IEP in the file AND mailed home to the parent.
